Mezin (Lot-et-Garonne)
Mezin is a small, friendly hillside town dominated by a huge medieval church. It is in the heart of Gascony. You can watch petanque being played every afternoon in one of the two town squares. There are several grocery shops, four bakers, a pharmacy, newsagent and five bars. A fresh produce market comes to Mezin every Thursday and Sunday, and there is a market in a nearby village every day of the week. Mezin also has a brand new municipal swimming pool.
