Mon Cabanon lies on the main coastal road between the glamorous sunny resorts of Cannes and St Tropez, and is located just a 4 minute walk from the nearest rocky cove (calanque). Behind the villa is the pool (7 x 3 metres), surrounded by decking and it's wonderful view of the sea. The property is comfortable and benefits from an extremely good position, however there is currently a building project next door to the house and therefore we are not renting the downstairs apartment this year. This reduced price reflects this ongoing project (the noisy part of the project was completed this spring!) and photos can be provided for full transparency. The main upstairs apartment has one double bedroom and an extra room (off of the main bedroom) with a small double sofa bed which can sleep two small children or one adult.

- Bright airy open lounge space, beautifully positioned with stunning views from kitchen and lounge. The small Smart TV has access to several English channels.
- Open Kitchen is modern and fully equipped with Dishwasher and Washing Machine.

- One children’s bedroom/Dressing room (leading off of double bedroom with small double sofa bed - sleeps 1 adult/ 2 small children)

- Large wooden sun terrace built around the pool, complete with 4 cushioned Sunbeds, Umbrellas, Sofa and Chairs.
- Gas BBQ - for poolside dining.
- Off road Parking available for one car at the front of the property.
- The Pool (20 sq metres) is situated behind the house and surrounded by wooden decking with magnificent panoramic views. The pool area is accessed by stairs running by the side of the house (the last 12 steps are quite steep so the pool area will not be suitable for persons with mobility issues.)
- Directly beyond the pool area runs the famous coastal railway line. This historic track winds its way through the Esterel mountains from Marseille to Italy and is an integral part of Antheor's colourful history. Trains run approximately once an hour, and can be seen and heard by the pool area however their passing is fleeting and there is just a slight rumble when inside the house. The trains finish at night.
Antheor is renowned for its spectacular beauty. Artists, such as Renoir and Van Gogh have captured the intense blue of the Mediterranean and the deep red of the Esteral mountains for centuries. The villa Mon Cabanon lies directly on this coastline, within this geographical jewel known locally as the Ruby of the Cote d'Azur.
Antheor and Agay host their share of fine restaurants whilst the nearby town of St Raphaël (8 Miles) with its marina, casino, bars and and waterfront bistros offer an evening of lively entertainment.
Secluded rocky calanques (coves) and sandy beaches follow the scenic coastal road leading from the villa to the neighbouring bay of Agay, with its shops, cafés and water sports. The sandy beach in Agay with its gently sloped sand is perfect for families.
A popular ferry service departs several times each week from Agay to St Tropez. A fun and scenic way to discover this charming fishing village made famous in the 1950's by Bridget Bardot.
The Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to run from 14-25 May 2024, and can be reached by train (15 minutes) or 30 minutes by car along the beautiful coastal road D98. The legendary Monaco Grand Prix can also be reached by train (approx 1.5 hours) and will be held over the weekend of the 24-26 May 2024.
This idyllic location is also a golfers paradise. With four courses within a ten minute drive of the villa, the closest is one of the worlds largest. Designed by the celebrated Robert Trent Jones Senior, 'Golf d'Esteral' is an 18 hole par 71, with 5,921 metres of spectacular views.

How to get to Mon Cabanon Villa
Nice is the nearest airport (serviced by Easyjet) and is approximately 36 kms from the house and just 45 minutes drive (accessed via A.8 motorway, exit 40.)
The property is located directly on the beautiful N.98 coastal road and is just a four minute walk from the nearest rocky beach.
This beautiful road (or indeed the local train - Station, Antheor), will take you along the stunning coastline to many well known destinations on the Cote D'Azur.
