Just a few minutes walk from a beautiful lake and 6km from the stunning sandy beaches of the Côte d'Argent, this will be a holiday you will never forget. Ideal for two or more families sharing. Quiet location on edge of forest and town. Fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, English TV, DVD, internet, barbecue, table tennis, etc.

Just minutes from all water-sports, golf, cycling, fishing, paint-balling, quad-biking, treetop adventure park, shops, hypermarket, funfair and fantastic beaches. English speaking owners always nearby to provide any assistance.

Holiday Accommodation at Villa with Private Pool

Les Arbres is a large comfortable villa on two floors with everything you could wish for. Each floor has its own bedrooms, bathroom, conservatory, sitting room, patio, barbecue area and access to the garden. It is ideal for two families sharing but wanting their own space. There is a games room with a table tennis table, and a private pool, which is lit at night for those late night dips.

There are

• Five double bedrooms - three with double beds, one with two single beds, and one with four single beds. There's also an adjoining room with a sofa-bed if you need it. Cots are available.
• Main Living room with a comfortable leather suite, English TV, DVD player, and a stereo system you can connect your iPod or MP3 player into.
• Second Living Room also with comfortable leather suite. Very handy for large parties.
• Two conservatories one downstairs and one upstairs!
• Kitchen - well equipped including a dishwasher. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer, washing lines, iron, and ironing board. There's a computer, and wireless broadband is available free of charge in case you bring a laptop.

Outside

The garden is fully enclosed by fences and hedges, and offers plenty of space to play or relax. There is a charcoal barbecue, and a large dining table for 12 - 14 people. There is a semi-enclosed games room, with table tennis, a dart board, and a large box of pool and other toys.

The 8m x 4m swimming pool has the latest automatic sanitation systems for crystal clear water and safe, hygienic bathing. It also has a low conservatory type cover, which makes the pool completely child-safe when closed, and makes the pool several degrees warmer than an open pool at the same latitude.

The villa is directly adjacent to the forest in a very quiet residential road used only by the local residents. There's plenty of off road parking space.

Pets are considered, and smoking is not allowed inside the villa.

About Mimizan in Landes, Aquitaine

Mimizan is right in the middle of the Côte d'Argent, on the west coast, about 50 miles south of Bordeaux. It is just over an hour's drive from Bordeaux airport and about the same distance from Spain. The area is famous for its pine forests, great lakes, and wide, golden sandy beaches offering some of the best surfing and body boarding in the world.

Mimizan is in two parts. The town is called Mimizan Bourg and the beach area is called Mimizan Plage. Les Arbres is just a few minutes from the Bourg, a traditional French market town with a lovely old church in the town square. There are lots of shops here, and on Friday there is a market selling delicious local produce.

The Plage has just as much to see and do with seasonal shops selling lamps, clothes, wood crafts, statues, and art from all over the world. This is also where most of the local restaurants are to be found.

Les Arbres is the perfect place to come back to at the end of the day. It is in a quiet residential area of Mimizan Bourg directly adjacent to the forest where there are a number of other villas with large gardens. A cycle track about 100 metres from the villa takes you directly to the beach. The lake and adventure park are just a few minutes walk away. The LeClerc hypermarket is less than five minutes drive away, where you can buy everything you could possibly need.
