Where is it

Dordogne
 

Le Domaine de La Millasserie is  a seventeenth century house located in the Dordogne, known by all who live there as the Perigord, in Southwest France, the land of truffles, wine, grande cuisine, and chateaux, and some of the most beautiful landscape in all France. The Dordogne has the largest number of historic sites in France outside of Paris.

The four B & B rooms (the chambres d'hotes) are located in a separate wing of the compound, facing the garden court. Each very large room has a private terrace, private entrance and easy access to the pool.

We are open all year round.

We are non-smoking

Accommodation detail

All four extra large (16 x 25 feet) rooms at La Millasserie are uniquely decorated with a variety of French antiques including a breakfast table, armoire, chest of drawers and comfortable armchairs. All rooms have king-sized beds, large ensuite baths, private terraces with garden furniture. All have easy access to the pool.

Note: Rooms 3 and 4 can be opened to create a two room suite.

About the location

La Millasserie is a few minutes from the ancient market villages of Lalinde, St. Alvare, Tremolat, twenty minutes from Bergerac, forty-five minutes from the restored Renaissance city of Sarlat and from the two cradles of prehistory, Les Eyzies and the Lascaux Caves.

It is an hour’s drive to St. Emilion in the heart of the Bordeaux wine country and two hours from the City of Bordeaux, one of the most beautiful cities in France.
