Peaceful Watermill with Large River Island

At the end of a tree lined drive, Moulin de Samaran is 4.5 kms from L'Isle-en-Dodon. Substantially re-built in its original style during the 1990s and dating back to 1728, the watermill on the banks of the River Save and straddling its mill leat, is surrounded by a small formal garden and 18 acres of park and woodland which constitute its river island.

Comprising 3 gites, sun terrace and poolhouse the Moulin de Samaran is the place on which to close the door on the rest of the world and relax.

What's included:

Wireless broadband internet connection - All bed linen, hand, bath and pool towels (changed weekly), kitchen cloths - electricity, water, gas (electricity not included November to March).

Full use of the following: Barbeque (one for each gîte) anywhere around the property -. Swim spa pool -sauna - shower - exercise equipment - garden, terrace and pool furniture - satellite TV, DVD/video and CD players, - library of books, DVDs and videos - games, jigsaws - fishing rods - Mountain bikes - Cot and high chair by arrangement.

N.B.  As the Moulin de Samaran is surrounded by water, all children must be superivsed by an adult.  Apart from our cats, all other animals you see are wild and must be respected as such.

Holiday Accommodation at Chevalet

Laid out in a duplex style, Chevalet has its front door off the entrance hall and stairwell which also serves Figuier and has direct access to the wheel room and sun terrace.

The front door opens onto:

• Fully fitted kitchen/dining room, with views over the mill pond.  In the corner a spiral staircase leads up to
• Lounge with additional views over the River Save.  Comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with original works art and antique prints, it is an ideal corner in which to relax, read a book or watch TV.  A short passage leads off to
• Two bedrooms with their en-suite shower rooms.

For larger parties (up to 10 people) Chevalet and Figuier can be combined
