Three Self Catering Cottages in 2 Acres of Grounds with Pool

We have 3 cottages and a B&B room set in 2 acres of land overlooking beautiful countryside on the edge of the village of Faye d’Anjou, amid the vineyards of the Coteau du Layon area of the Loire valley. The cottages are ideal for individual lettings or for larger groups. They are converted from buildings around the foundations of an old windmill in beautifully tranquil grounds of mainly grass, shrubs and trees.

There is a swimming pool, which is open from June until September and plenty of space for a game of boules or to find a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the panoramic views.

The windmill separates our house from the cottages and does not overlook them. The cottages are centrally heated, well furnished and the kitchens are well equipped. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A barbecue is supplied for each cottage and bikes are available for use at your own risk. Plenty of parking is available, no pets are allowed and there is a '‘no-smoking’ policy in all the properties.

A 10 min walk from Moulin de la Placette takes you to the village centre with its patisserie/boulangerie, mini-market and bar. A larger supermarket can be found at Thouarcé, a 5 min drive away.

How To Get To Faye D Anjou in Maine-et-Loire, North West France

Moulin de la Placette is 20kms south of Angers, take the A87(motorway) south direction of Cholet, leave motorway at junction 23 and take the N160 direction Cholet, follow this road for about10kms, just after passing a large motor home sales site on the right you will reach a roundabout, take the left onto the D54 into Beaulieu-sur-layon, at the church go down the left side onto the D55 to Faye D’Anjou.
