Home description

Our motto: Take a sip of Burgundy at Chateau de Percey.

This small 18th century chateau is set in a rural area near Chablis and the Burgundy Canal. We combine the good life from the French country side with modern comfort and facilities.

We would like to share our love for the French 'l'art de vivre", show you our favourite special places and make your holiday into a special one.

The Grand gîte is situated on the first floor and second floor on the West side of the chateau. It is a deluxe apartment.

Every room has it's own colour and the ground floors are of marble. You will be surrounded by chandeliers and art deco lamps. The decorations are modern with antique accents and you will find contemporary art by international artists.

Outside

You can wonder about the seven hectare park with a maze, forest and english garden.

In the garden there are various terraces to eat or relax and we built a huge terrace around a 19th century fontain for a romantic evening. 

About the location

Château de Percey (Yonne, 89) lies in the northern part of Burgundy, between the cities of Troyes in the Champagne area, Chablis and Avallon in the Morvan. The chateau lies on the borders of the Burgundy Canal and the river Armançon. It is a very rural area with a lot of (Chablis) wine, forests and agricultural land.

Paris is only 1.5 hours away by car or 2 hours by regional train.

How to get here

Chateau de Percey lies 30 minutes from the A5 and the A6 better known as the "route de soleil". From Paris main airports you are 1.5 hours away. By train you take the regional train TER to St. Florentin, Tonnerre or Laroche-Migennes and you are in 2 hours from Paris to Percey.

From London and Amsterdam: 7 hours

From Bruxelles, Luxembourg and Geneva: 4 hours
