Quiet Holiday Farm Cottage in Pas de Calais

Charming farm cottage conveniently located between St.Omer and Calais.

Journy is a small quiet village situated in the beautiful "Parc Regional des 2 Caps " in Pas de Calais. In the surroundings you can find lots of French restaurants, beautiful cycling routes and walks. You can have a nice rest in our beautiful garden with an exceptional view on the hills.

Holiday Accommodation at La Maison des Pigeons

Accommodation in this charming farmhouse comprises:

  • A comfortable living room with 2 large sofa for two or three persons. There are also 2 separate armchairs.
  • Just behind the living room you will find:
  • The kitchen with a large table and chairs.
  • The four bedrooms are all on the main floor: 3 bedrooms for 1 to 7 persons: (1 room with double bed and 1 room with 2 single beds and 1 room with 3 single beds) 4 bedrooms for 1 to 9 persons: one more room with double bed.(only available for reservations of 1 to 9 persons)
  • Reservations for 1 to 7 persons can also book the 4 rooms, then you pay for 1 to 9 persons.
  • The bathroom is next to one of the bedrooms with bath and shower. Another bathroom with shower and toilet you can find between the third and fourth room.
  • A wood burning stove in the living room
  • A huge garden (3000m) with an exceptional view on the hilly landscape .

Children have a special place in the stable house where they will find biljards, a table, ping pong etc

There is a garage for your car, motorbike or bicycles.

About Alquines in Pas-de-Calais, Nord Pas de Calais

The historic town St.Omer is about 15 minutes from the holiday house. You can reach the beaches of Wimerieux and Boulogne in about 25 minutes. Every Monday and on other days of the week you have nice local markets. Liques is the nearest village and caters for all your shopping needs. In Lumbres is a huge "Leclerc", the well known supermarket in France where you can taste 'les fruits de mer'. In the old village of Boulogne you can find a lot of nice restaurants.

You can find several "Golf courts". Lumbres, Hardelot etc...

The war history like "La Coupole" is nearby (20 min.drive)

Eperlecques, and all war history you can reach in about 20 min.driving from the house.

The beautifull lake from Ardres is in an 20 min. from the holiday house.

There is the possibility for fishing, sailing and many other sports.

How To Get To Alquines in Pas-de-Calais, North East France

The Euro tunnel is about 20 minutes from the house. Calais and the ferries are about a 20 minute drive. It is possible to arrive in St.Omer or Calais via train or TGV.

Also the ferry in Boulogne is with the highway a 25 min.from the house.

If you like visiting Belgium...the beautifull history town "Brugge" is in about 1hour and a half from La Maison des Pigeons.
