Attractive Gite in Grounds of Stunning Chateau

Chateau de Montoussel is on the outskirts of a sleepy village and the gites are in the grounds of the Chateau. The gites are totally separate from the Chateau and they have their own pool, which is used only by the clients.

The gites have been renovated in a mix of modern and old material to provide a stylish and comfortable stay.

Holiday Accommodation at Gite 'Mutley'

Gite 'Mutley' is an attractive gite offering a very comfortable stay for up to 4 people. Beautiful oak flooring throughout and attractive pieces of furniture, give this gite a luxurious feel.

Accommodation comprises:

  • A main bedroom, with a very large African carved bed.
  • Twin bedroom with exposed brick wall and velux window.
  • A modern wet room
  • A spacious and light open plan living area with wooden beams. The door from the sitting room leads out onto the private raised terrce for the Mutley gite, from there you can get to the pool.
  • An attractive modern kitchen with solid wood worktops to compliment the wooden flooring and beams.

French TV is also available.

About Beauville in Haute-Garonne, Midi Pyrenees

Chateau de Montoussel is situated just above Beauville, looking over beautiful farm land and the local area. There are many villages around with good restaurants such as Saint-Felix, which also has some amazing history to it.

Places to ski start 70 minutes away, Andorra is 120 minutes.

The Mediterranean sea is 80 minutes away. The nearest main coastal town is Narbonne.

The Chateau is 20 minutes from the famous town of Revel, where there is a market held every Saturday morning, classed one of the top 10 in France. Also on the outskirts of the town is Saint-Ferreol lake, which was built in the 17th Century as the main reservoir for the Canal du Midi. A good day out can be had here as you can windsurf, sail and canoe on the lake, as well as eat in one of the many restaurants there.

The Canal du Midi is 10 minutes away at the village of Villefranche de Lauragais. You can bicycle from this point to Toulouse or to the Mediterranean.

How To Get To Beauville in Haute-Garonne, South West France

Chateau de Montoussel is 35 minutes from Toulouse airport Blagnac. Carcassonne airport is 50 minutes. From Toulouse you travel down the A61 towards Carcassonne and come off at Villefranche-de-Lauragais. There you travel for 10 minutes North to Beauville.

Additional price information

Security deposit: 200 Euros is required on arrival and is returned to you, less any breakages or damage fees, at the end of your stay.

Heating: extra charges for heating may apply in the cooler months.

Hampers:

  • 15 Euros: Milk, Jam, Coffee, Tea, Bread, Butter, 6 eggs, 8 Croissants.
  • 25 Euros: Milk, Jam, Coffee, Tea, Bread, Butter, 6 eggs, 8 croissants, Bacon, Bottle of Rose, 2 bottles of water, Local pate.

If you have any other requests we can shop for you and the extra cost can be added to your bill at the end of your stay.

Babysitting: We can organise this for you with 24 hours notice and is charged at 10 Euros per hour.

Cot beds: A cot can be hired with linen for 20 Euros per week.
