Situated in the Department of the Herault in the Languedoc, and within 1 hour of Montpellier's international airport, this property is an ideal place to spend a holiday, lazing by the pool or touring this beautiful and interesting area.

Access is by a narrow departmental road 2km to the north of the market town of Lodeve with shops, cafès, all services, art exhibitions etc. There is an unmade road leading to the house which is situated on a one-acre plot, surrounded by trees and next to the river, facing south. The surroundings are rural but not isolated and the house has exclusive use of the pool.

Holiday Accommodation at La Preberge

This is a spacious 4 bedroom, friendly family house sleeping 8. There is a great deal of outside space and no through traffic.

Ground Floor

  • Separate toilet/handbasin. Cloakroom with clothes pegs.
  • Kitchen 15m2 equipped with sink, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, worktops, cupboards, electric oven, micro-wave, ceramic hob, French doors to terrace. Back-kitchen with washing machine, iron, ironing board, second cooking hob (calor gas), upright freezer.
  • Dining area 12m2 next to kitchen with dining table and chairs, side-board, French doors to terrace.
  • Sitting room 30m2, sofas French doors to terrace
  • Staircase to first floor landing

First Floor

  • Landing with doors to all rooms. Cupboard with extra hanging space.
  • Bedroom 1: 15m2 - 1 double bed and 1 single bed, large clothes cupboard.
  • Bedroom 2: 12.5m2 - double bed 140cms – clothes hanging area, shower and wash basin, French window onto upstairs terrace.
  • Bedroom 3: 10m2 - two single beds chest of drawers, small wardrobe, French windows to terrace.
  • Bedroom 4: 15m2 - double bed 140cm, large clothes hanging cupboard.
  • Bathroom: 16m2 - bath, handshower, shower, two wash-basins, bidet.
  • Separate toilet and handbasin.

Outside

  • There is a covered terrace suitable for breakfast etc.
  • Mulberry-tree shaded flagged patio, with table and chairs, looking towards the swimming pool (with safety barrier) and onto the garden and meadow with access to the river.
  • Ping-pong table.
  • Stone-built barbecue.
