This comfortable apartment is located in the 3rd arrondissement in a traditional building in the Marais, the historical section of central Paris between Place de la République and Hotel de Ville. This is a very fine location in the heart of Paris, yet extremely quiet thanks to its location on the courtyard side of the second floor of this 18th century building. It is only a few yards from the impressive Picasso Museum, in "Hotel Salé" and with easy walking distance from Place des Vosges and such reknowned museums as Carnavalet, Cognac-Jay, and many more.

Very good security system with door entry intercom. The apartment is two easy flights up and has no elevator. It is inhabited by permanant residents and thanks to its location on a short and quiet street it is itself calm and quiet.

You will be welcomed personally upon arrival by English speaking host(ess).

Accommodation detail

The apartment was completely renovated and refurbished in 1992 to a very high standard of comfort.  The walls are white and floors are tiled, except in the bedroom which has a wool carpet.

The accommodation consists of:

• Kitchen which is fully equipped and has a counter bar. This opens onto the:
• Living room. This can be separated into two distinctive rooms thanks to a sliding partition system. (Can be seen in the photo above). There is a large amount of cupboard space. At one end of the room there is a double sofa bed and the other one has a 2 single bed system.   A folding dining room table that can sit six is used as a console or desk when not used for eating.
• Bedroom with a large queen size bed, closet, 19th century chest of drawers, writing table.
• Bathroom with bath/shower and washbasin.
• Separate Toilet with washbasin

About the location

The Marais district has been undergone much revitalization in the last few years and this very safe neighborhood now hosts interesting art galleries, antique shops, cafés and restaurants. There are several convenient bus stops nearby (line 96 to Montparnasse, 75 to Chatelet, 29 to the Opera and famous big department stores.) Several subway stops are also within a 5 to 10 minute walk.
