Lou Courdet is a well appointed, former family home on the outskirts of the small Gascony village of Lupiac. The surrounding area is rich in agriculture, history and culture and has something for everyone. The house looks out over gently rolling green hills, just the place to relax and unwind, or wander through historic towns like Auch, Bassoues, Condom and Eauze, visit the local museums or the birthplace of Dumas' hero, d'Artagnan.

The front of the house overlooks a paved area which has an electrically operated awning for shade. Garden furniture (excluding patio chairs/loungers) and a separate barbecue are provided. In front of this is a good sized swimming pool (with a pool alarm) to cool off in. The property is surrounded by lawns of approx 2500 square metres, has excellent views and has a large integral garage/storage room. The property has mains water and drainage to a septic tank.

• Three large double bedrooms (two with double beds, one with twin beds) sleeping 6 people.

About the location

Lupiac is conveniently situated for those travelling by air to Bordeaux or Toulouse and is also close to the French motorway system (A62). The surrounding area is rich in history and culture, while also offering opportunities for more strenuous pursuits or just relaxing and watching the world go by. Last but definitely not least, Gascony is renowned as the gastronomic centre of France with its fois gras, wines and, of course, that most noble of spirits, Armagnac.

Both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts are within driving distance, although we are sure you will find plenty to suit your tastes much closer to home.
