The house, a former 'bergerie' in grounds of over 5 acres, lies on the outskirts of Euzet-les-Bains, a hillside village set amidst a sea of green oaks and located on the edge of Provence at the gateway to the Cévennes. Three double and two twin bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities are available to be booked separately or in any combination.

Françoise and Wayne are dedicated to their business and to helping you make the most of your stay in this beautiful part of southern France.

Françoise is a qualified Reflexologist, should you wish to experience total relaxation, whilst Wayne has a passion for old cars and might easily be persuaded to take you for a drive in his vintage Alvis.

Accommodation detail

The gîte, a renovated granary attached to the main house, is reached by a separate drive and has parking, private garden area and sun terraces with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the Cévennes. 

The gîte comprises:

The accommodation is well equipped and includes a washing machine, cooker, microwave oven, 2 fridges, TV, DVD player, CD and stereo.  It has has electric heating.

The swimming pool (10 x 5 m) is shared with guests of the bed and breakfast.

About the location

The area is popular for its many attractions, its festivals, markets and wines.  The numerous restaurants and local wine producers provide the perfect opportunity to savour the local produce.  Within easy reach are many cities, towns and villages famous for their history and architecture: Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, Montpellier, Uzès, Vézénobres and the Pont du Gard (the famous Roman aquaduc) to name but a few.

Less than 50mins from the National Park of the Cevennes recently classed a Unesco world site, the Camargue, the Gorges of the Ardeche, Gardon, Ceze and Tarn rivers where you can go canoeing, rafting. 10mins from renouned 'Falaises des Seynes' famous for its 200+ bolted climbs.  Other attractions nearby include water park, horse riding (in the village equestrian centre), rally driving, quad biking, go karting and circuit driving.

How to get here

Flights: Ryanair from Luton, Liverpool to Nîmes (35 mins drive to Euzet) and Stansted to Montpellier, Birminghan to Montpellier  (1 hour's drive to Euzet), Bristol to Beziers (90mn drive to Euzet).

Trains: TGV to Avignon or Nîmes (3 hours from Paris) - Direct Eurostar London - Avignon in summer

Road: 45 minutes from the motorway network.

Additional price information

Price is per week (Saturday to Saturday) Arrival from 3 pm, departure latest 11 am.

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance to be paid in full 6 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made by cheque in Euros or by bank transfer (details on request). Written confirmation of your booking will be sent upon receipt of all payments. A damage deposit of £50 is also required.
