La Tringale is an 1820’s farmhouse set in 2.5 acres and is nestled in the meandering Normandy countryside, offering excellent accommodation and facilities (a 3 bedroom Stone Cottage, a 2 bedroom Gite and 3 rooms in the B&B), peace and tranquility and with easy access to major ferry ports, airports and key attractions of this truly delightful and historic region, and is child and dog-friendly.
Each accommodation has its own patio with full-furniture and, in addition, the large enclosed rear garden has 2 barbecues (fuel provided) and picnic benches and a children’s play area with swings, slide, see-saw, climbing-rope and tyre-swings. The extensive grassed area can be used for ball games (football net and balls; badminton net and basket-ball equipment provided) or just to relax and enjoy the sunshine and perhaps a drop of the grape-nectare?.
The large landscaped pond is home to fish, frogs, newts and a family of moorhens and is fenced to ensure safety for all. A large secure car park ensures safety for all guest's vehicles. There is a laundry room, for guests’ use, which houses a washing-machine, ironing-board and iron and ample external drying area. A variety of DVD’s and Videos are available on loan from Ron and Bunty, your English hosts, as are a selection of bikes.
