Montcuq (Lot)

Montcuq is a charming medieval village complete with 12th century keep. It is sitated in the Lot department, not far from Cahors.

Everything you need for a wonderful holiday is in and around Montcuq. The village has all you need in the way of bars and restaurants plus boulangeries, hairdressers, supermarkets and boutiques. There is also a tennis courts and a lake with a beach. Things to do in the area include golf, riding, great walks, cycling, canoeing, visiting chateaux, prehistoric caves and much more.

The countryside around Montcuq is so beautiful at all times of the year.  The lake has wonderful views and looks up to the old medieval village with it’s tower which dominates the village. 

Sunday morning is market day and a real must visit!  One of the best markets in the area with everything from lavender, spices, clothes, jewellery, fantastic cheeses and so much more….you’ll never forget Montcuq market!
