A charming property with lovely pool and well positioned for exploring the area and of course the beautiful town of Sarlat.
Katie our host could not have been more helpful and kind throughout our stay and very generously left us some goodies to eat and drink on arrival, which was such a nice touch. The property was extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen with all the utensils you could possibly need. There were also lots of books, films and games available to use too. We would definitely recommend Lavender Cottage to anybody wanting a peaceful stay whilst also being very close to the bustling town of Sarlat and it's wonderful market on Wednesdays and Saturdays - although go early to avoid the crowds!Guest rating:
Katie and Jean-Eric are wonderful hosts and this house is a truly lovely place to stay. The house is in a lovely secluded location yet only 5 mins drive from Sarlat. The pool is wonderful and beautifully maintained by Jean-Eric.
The house is full of everything you would need including a vast quantity of board games and a table tennis table outside. There are also 2 lovely friendly cats!
We would love to be able to come back sometime in the future.Guest rating:
Ideally located on the heights of Sarlat. We are close to town but with the calm of the countryside. The house is well equipped, the pool is large. Katie and Jean-Eric are very friendly hosts and available if needed.
We had a lovely stay !Guest rating:
Great house very clean, superb pool with lovely views and delightful owners. We walked into town every night as the choice of restaurants in Sarlat is amazing, getting a taxi back was difficult on a Sunday night but Jeaneric kindly collected us, you really get excellent service with a smile from the owners, nothing is too much effort for them.Guest rating:
The house has to be stayed in to be truely appreciated, it is very clean, in a perfect location with an amazing pool. There are some lovely areas to sit and relax in and the hammock in the trees was loved by all. The pool is lovely and warm and having a private pool is simply the best. The food welcome pack was delicious and the figs in the garden are just waiting to be picked. Sarlat itself is a lovely town, we were impressed at how many restaurants and shops there are, the Saturday market was enormous. We loved this holiday home and the owners are so thoughtful and helpful.Guest rating:
We loved this house, it's very clean, excellent location and very nicely decorated. The pool is superb and is set in a lovely spot so you have a great view and the sunlounges are very comfortable. The local restaurant is definetly worth a visit, very relaxed and friendly. This has been one of our best holidays and the owners are very helpful and have some lovely tips about where and what to visit. This has been one of of best holidays in France.Guest rating:
