We spent a lovely couple of weeks here. The house is very well equipped, some of the comfiest beds we've had, and the bathrooms are all new. The pool was the best bit as it was heated which made such a difference. The grounds are great, we even did some fishing in the lake. Beautiful area of France, quite unspoilt and relatively quiet but still lots to do. Les and Ela were perfect hosts and provided lots of help as to where to go. We will be returning :)Guest rating:
Well what we can we say about this holiday, we have been to France many times in the past and this is first time we felt compelled to return. The reasons the gite is beautifully maintained with all the amenities anyone would need, The pool is outstanding and heated which makes night swimming an absolute joy. The crowing glory is the setting, beautiful grounds, lake, and orchards, So much so that this year we barely ventured out. Les and Ela are on hand if you need help but discreet if you dont. If you wish to explore this unspoilt part of France then Petit Auberon is the perfect base.Guest rating:
Our stay at Petit Auberon was wonderful. It has everything you need for a relaxing, indulgent holiday. The gite is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. The extensive grounds are truly amazing! There is a lake for fishing or boating, a tranquil meditation pool plus lots more. The heated swimming pool is absolutely beautiful - very difficult to tear yourself away from!!! There is also lots to see in the surrounding area with some amazing restaurants . Nearby Condom is handy for supplies and a pleasant place to walk around. The hosts Les and Ela were lovely!! They were there if we needed anything but left us alone to use all the facilities of their delightful grounds. We will definitely return. It was an amazing experience in every way!Guest rating:
Stayed at Petit Auberon mid August as a family of 5. From the moment we took the turning down the private drive off the beaten track I knew it was going to be perfect! Secluded with unspoilt views and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing week away. I recommend a case as a must to get to local towns and shops, and it is perfectly located if you want to explore the region. Although we found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the pool and our own little paradise! House is recently renovated to a very high standard with all amenities, the grounds are stunning with a lake to enjoy fishing and the local wildlife. There is a bbq which we made good use of and table tennis which was fun. The pool is the gem in the crown we didn't want to come home! Les and Ela are fantastic hosts and their laid back hospitality made this a place I shall return to very soon!Guest rating:
This was the first time we had stayed at an owners on site villa and we didn’t know what to expect. Where to start, the villa was beautiful and immaculate, the pool was absolutely fantastic and as a bonus it was heated, and the owners were very helpful and discreet. The crowning glory was the land with its lake, orchards and maze. We had a great time and we can’t recommend this villa enough.Guest rating:
