This stunning old Hunting Lodge is a wonderful holiday rental with it's wisteria covered stone walls and a magical setting immediately above a beautiful lake. The accommodation is ideal for family groups or groups of friends with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. In addition there is a small tower room off one of the main bedrooms which has bunk beds and is ideal for children.
Accommodation
The accommodation is split between the ground and first floor (although the first floor opens up onto the dining terrace and garden).
On the lower level there is a large 2 bedroom apartment both with their own en-suites as well as a living area and bar area. On the first floor, there is a large living room and spacious kitchen as well as an additional 2 bedrooms again both with their own en-suites. There is also a small tower room with bunk beds. There is main staircase that links the two levels together.
On the First Floor:
- Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom
- Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom
On the Lower Level:
- Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom
- Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom
Outdoor Living
The Hunting Lodge has been designed to really make the most of outdoor living with a fantastic covered terrace that opens up from the kitchen and runs the whole length of the house. At one end of the terrace is the dining area and then the remainder of the terrace has comfy seating. The terrace overlooks the landscaped garden and the 8m x 4m swimming pool. There are additional small terraces around the property as well as a lawned area for ball games. There is a large gas BBQ for guest use.
The Lodge is set in the quiet countryside of the Lot-et-Garonne but is a short drive (15 minute walk) to the hamlet of Saint Sernin where there is village shop and tennis courts. The bustling town of Duras is just 8km away and has many shops, resaturants and bars as well as weekly morning and night markets. The property is in an ideal location on the borders of the Dordogne to explore this beautiful area of South West France with many medieval bastide villages close by such as Eymet, Issigeac, Castillonnes, Monflanquin and Monpazier. The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac is just a 35 minute drive away and the vineyards of St Emilion are only a 45 minute drive away. Both places a must to visit!

How to get to The Lodge
The Lodge is ideally positioned between 3 International Airports making it an easy final destination.
- The International Airport of Bergerac is just under 35 minutes away. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. Flybe flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter and Edinburgh. There are also interconnecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle with Flybe. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport and Transvania flies to Rotterdam. Twinjet also now flies from Bergerac to Paris.
- The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr away, with a larger International Airport servicing over 95 UK and Worldwide destinations.
- In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 45 mins drive to the south - again a large International Airport

Additional price notes
- All prices are in sterling and are per week, Saturday to Saturday, arriving at 4pm departing at 10am.
- A deposit of 30% is required by the Owner to confirm the booking.
- The final balance is due 12 weeks before arrival. A damages deposit of £1000 is also required at that time. This will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
- Please read in full the “Terms and Conditions” which will be provided by the Owner before you sign their Booking Form. This will contain all terms and conditions in detail.
