5 rue des Fleurs has recently been reburbished with new kitchen, new shower room upstairs and refurbished shower room downstairs.
The property comprise:
- Two double bedrooms with king size beds on first floor.
- Two bedrooms with twin beds on first floor
- Newly installed shower room on first floor.
- On ground floor there is a new toilet and refurbished shower room with toilet.The house comfortably sleeps 8 guests.
- A large sitting room with dining area next to a brand new kitchen. Utility area next to kitchen with second dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and fridge freezer.
- There is also a shower room and adjoining toilet.
- A games room with table tennis, snooker table and dart board.
La Chapelle Baton is a small village in Vienne. At the moment there are no amenities but there are plans to open a cafe/bar in the summer of 2023. The nearest town with boulangeries, Coop supermarket, bars and restaurants is Charroux which is 10 minute drive away. It also has a very historic abbey and a Tourist Information Office.
Savigne is a 15 minute drive and has larger supermarkets, Intermarche and Aldi. It has some commercial facilities as well including garage repairs and other small shops. The nearest vets is in Savigne.
A 5 minute drive further on from Savigne is Civray, a very pretty town with a river running through it. It has lots of bars and restaurants surrounding the square and holds a twice weekly market. On the outskirts of the town are Lidl and SuperU.
The cities of Poitiers and Angouleme are approximately 1hour to the north and south respectively.
