The accommodation is split between the two properties with the Farmhouse having three bedrooms and the Barn having a further three bedrooms.
The Farmhouse
The property is beautifully decorated and whilst being modern retains many original features such as oak beams and traditional tiles. On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen & utility room as well as a separate large living room with wood burner. There is also a separate dining room. Opening out from the kitchen is a stunning dining terrace with a private pool and long views over the countryside. In addition, there is a dining terrace and sun loungers. There is also a BBQ for guest use. The Farmhouse has it's own swimming pool.
The bedrooms are located as follows;
Ground Floor
- Bedroom 3 is a large double bedroom with a shower room and WC close by
First Floor
- Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with a super king size bed and en-suite shower room
- Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with an en-suite shower room.
The Barn
Set slightly behind the Farmhouse, the Barn has recently been renovated and offers modern open plan living with a large living area opening into a modern kitchen and utility room. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor.
The bedrooms are located as follows;
Ground Floor
- Bedroom 4 is a double bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom
First Floor
- Bedroom 5 is a double bedroom
- Bedroom 6 is a twin bedroom
- Bedroom 5 and 5 share a shower-room on the first floor
The Barn also has it's own small private pool which is half in ground with decking around it as well as an area with dining table and chairs as well as sun loungers. There is also an additional BBQ and a table tennis table.
Outdoor Living
The property has been designed to really make the most of outdoor living with two swimming pools. The swimming pool and terrace off the Farmhouse has incredible views which are to die for. There are also lots of lovely places within the gardens to sit in the shade and there is a lawned area for ball games. There is plenty of guest parking.
The Farmhouse and Barn are set in the quiet countryside of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne borders but are a short drive to many beautiful towns and villages. The village of Soumensac is just 4km away and has a regular Sunday morning food market throughout July and August. The bustling town of Eymet is just 11m away and has many shops, restaurants and bars as well as weekly morning and night markets. The Dordogne riverside town of Sainte Foy La Grande is an 18km drive. the championship golf course at Chateau Vigiers is only 13km away.
The property is in an ideal location on the borders of the Dordogne to explore this beautiful area of South West France with many medieval bastide villages close by such as Duras, Issigeac, Castillonnes, Monflanquin and Monpazier. The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac is just a 30 minute drive away and the vineyards of St Emilion are only a 50 minute drive from the property. Both places are a must to visit!

How to get to Farmhouse & Barn
The Farmhouse and Barn are ideally positioned between 3 international airports making it an easy final destination. The International Airport of Bergerac is just under 30 minutes away. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. British Airways fly to Bergerac from London City and Southampton. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport and Transvania flies to Rotterdam. The vibrant city of Bordeaux is 1hr 30 mins away, with a larger International Airport servicing over 95 UK and Worldwide destinations. In addition, Toulouse Airport is approximately 1hr 45 mins drive to the south.

- All prices are in sterling and are per week, Saturday to Saturday, arriving at 4pm departing at 10am.
- A deposit of 30% is required by the Owner to confirm the booking.
- The final balance is due 12 weeks before arrival. A damages deposit of £1000 is also required at that time. This will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
