Rochechouart (Haute-Vienne)
Rochechouart is on the Limousin border, about 40 km from Limoges and 60 km from Angoulême. Lush countryside with unspoilt landscapes makes this a tranquil place to stay.
As well as the château and the Romanesque and Gothic church with a museum of prehistorythere is also the Rochechouart 'Espace Météorite' (Meteorite Center) which is worth a visit.
