Villa Margerette is the perfect retreat for a weekend or a few days, whether you plan to unwind with your love one or bring friends and family.
The house is a gem that offers total peace and a panoramic view of the authentic French countryside.
You will have time to relax by the private pool, read under the olive trees, drink a glass of wine in the garden and dine al fresco.
Villa Margerette is an individual 3 bedroomed house located on a large 5200 sq meter land, perfect for a couple or up to 6 people. The whole house has been furnished with care.
The house comprises:
- Two bathrooms : the ground floor bathroom has a bath, a WC and a double sink. The 1st floor bathroom has a large Italian shower and a double sink. There is also a separate WC at the first floor
- A kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, and all amenities (professional cooker/stove, American fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso and filters coffee machines, kettle, toaster...)
- Two upstairs bedrooms each have their own private balcony overlooking the countryside of Callas: a double bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and a twin bedroom with two 80x200 cm beds. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage
- Large ground floor bedroom suite with a 160x200 bed and storage.
- Dining and living room with an L shape sofa and armchair, a large dining table for 6, a TV, DVD player, an ornemental fire place, HI-FI (CD, radio and MP3 player) and wireless Internet
- There is also a storage room with a second fridge/freezer, a washing-machine, dryer and games, as well as a CD and DVD collection
- For small children, we have a travel cot, a high chair, a changing table, a portable bath, a transat and a food mixer
Outside
The house is complete with a swimming pool, an American size gas barbecue for dinners outside and plenty of shade to relax with a bottle of wine that you have brought from the world famous vineyards in the area.

The property is located in the south of France, in a small village called Callas in the area of Var in the Provence-Alpes- Cote d’Azur. Only 3 miles from Bargemon (where David Beckham has a property), 30 minutes from Saint Raphael and the Mediterranean beaches, 45 minutes from Cannes and St Tropez, summer location of the international Jet-Set. Also 45 minutes from the Lac St Croix and the Gorge du Verdon, if you prefer a quiet and authentic way of life. The area is good for skiing with la Colmiane and the other resorts at 1 hour drive. The nearest Airports are Nice and Toulon, both 60 minutes away.
Callas is a small medieval village and a perfect place to relax and drink a morning coffee or enjoy the sunset with a Pastis or a Kir. The Area is rich in history with medieval villages dotting the hill sides of the area.
Callas is surrounded by some of France's finest vineyards. The area is famous for the Rose wine that benefits from the AOC label (high standard quality). Most Villages have weekly markets that sell fresh homegrown products. Callas itself is famous for its genuine olive oil.
In July and August there are many outdoor concerts, events and festivals including the festival de Aioli, the film festival of Cotignac.

- Grasse: Worldwide famous for its flowers, used to create the most historical Perfumes (Chanel N.5 is one of them). You can visit the factories and bring a slice of the dream back home.
- Cannes: Home of the famous international film festival.
- St Tropez: for nightlife (VIP, Caves du Roy, Brasserie des arts ...), private beaches (Nikki Beach, Palmiers, Club 55, l'escalet ...), superb surroundings (Ramatuelle, Gassin, Grimaud...)

- Nice - 60 minutes drive away. Nice is the 2nd biggest airport of France. All the major airlines offer direct flights there, from all continents. Easyjet fly to Nice from Liverpool, Luton and Gatwick (UK), then rent a car at the Airport.

We can highly recommend a stay at Villa Margerette. The house itself is extremely stylish and comfortable and there are balconies on the first floor with stunning views of the countryside. With such warm weather, we made the most of the lovely pool but also couldn't resist the trampoline and swing! The grounds are spacious and it's a very private, peaceful villa. There is plenty to do in the immediate area. The nearby village of Seillans is reputed to be the most beautiful village in France and we visited the Max Ernst exhibition there. The Chapelle St Rosaline at Les Arcs also contains a mosaic by Chagall! We also enjoyed a trip to nearby Cannes which was very quiet for July. The harbour is amazing. My family and I, with our two young children, had a lovely, relaxing 2 weeks at your villa. The villa is beautifully kept, extremely well equipped and we were even welcomed with home made quiche, chocolate cake and Rose wine! We would recommend this villa and we had fun exploring the beautiful towns of Claviers and Bargemon and paddling in the nearby gorge. Thank you for a lovely stay.Guest rating:

We spent a fabulous week at Maison Callas and had a great stay. The house and outside space were super clean and had all the facilities we needed. We would definitely recommend staying here - Callas and the surrounding area is beautiful although with the lovely pool there is no need to travel too far! Thank you David and Fabienne! We found the Villa perfect for the two of us, had everything we needed, great outdoor area very spacious and great eating area outside also. Villa is very secluded and in a great location for relaxing. Car needed to get to the village due to there being a stretch of road without a footpath, but located in a great area with many interesting villages a short drive away.

The property was Spacious, nicely proportioned and was well equipped. The Kitchen was spacious, with good appliances and there were comfortable beds. Excellent outdoors for relaxing, eating, sunbathing and barbecuing. The pool was rather too small, particularly for 6 people. A car port next to the house keeps the car out of the sun. Fabienne the owner is lovely and easily contactable in case of any queries / problems
The property is in a quiet, peaceful location up single track steep hillside, secluded from nearby properties by olive trees. Close to many lovely relaxed villages in beautiful countryside. There are many village markets close to hand every day of week and lots of vinyards / wine tastings close by and the Mediterranean just 45 mins (Ste. Maxime - very pretty)

Truly a place to spend your holiday! We loved our 2-weeks holiday in Villa Magrette very much and we really do appreciate all the efforts that Fabienne and David made in order to make our stay memorable and comfortable. We liked the location of the house, its views, privacy and quietness it offers. The house is well-equipped (incl lovely private pool, internet, close to village Callas). A car is necessary if you want to discover the surroundings. There are lots of nice places to eat around the local area (for local food, for pizza or for Michelin-star restaurant near Callas). Also the house offers you the opportunity to eat outside with your own barbeque. This is the place if you want to live like locals, appreciate privacy, to taste the rosé wine of Provence and truly enjoy your holiday! And the photos on the webpage are truly the same in real life! We would like to come back some day, hopefully already next year! Thank you again, Fabienne & David! It was truly a holiday to remember.

We have had a fantastic holiday thanks to Villa Margarette! This is a really spacious, relaxing place with stunning views, the kids were in the pool all day (and night) and we were able to really unwind. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here – we all wish we were still there

We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Callas. Very quiet place with a well equipped kitchen and a big barbecue. The nearby town is very charming, and is in perfect walking distance in the morning so that you can enjoy the great croissants with clean conscience. The arrival service was also very good, and always available whenever we had a question during the week we staid there. There are no neighbours that can see you by the pool area, so you feel really calm and relaxed.
