Maison Fleurie is a stone barn which has been converted to a stunning two bedroom cottage with private heated swimming pool for your sole use. The cottage has
- An open plan lay out with french doors leading out into a patio. Inside the lounge, there are two leather sofas, large flat screen TVs with french and English tv along with a DVD player.
- The modern fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob, intergrated electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine. We provide a large selection of crockery, Utensils , infact everything you need for a self catering holiday. An Iron and iron board is also provided along with a clothes airer and washing line outside in your private garden.
The wooden staircase leads to:
- A large master bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and dressing table.
- The second bedroom has matching two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
- The bathroom has a large walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet. All bed linen, shower mat and t towels are provided, you just need to bring your own towels. We also provide all cleaning items.
Stepping outside from the french doors, you have
- A large terrace with a wooden table and chairs,
- BBQ and also a set of outdoor wicker furniture.
- The swimming pool is accessed from the terrace and has a child safety lock on the gate and is also fully fenced. The heated swimming pool is approx 8,5 metres long by 4metres wide and is surrounded on one size by wooden decking. Sun chairs and parasols are situated on the wooden terrace.
- Garden cottage has its own private garden laid to lawn along with private access and off road parking for one car.
Our countryside cottage is situated close by the beautiful Lac de Guerledan, which is an 8mile long lake offering many water sports activities, beaches, mountain biking and walking trails. We are also near to the stunning Nantes to Brest Canal and the award winning old village of Gouarec. Whether you are looking for an activity holiday or just lazing by our private heated swimming pool then our cottage is ideally situated .
We are based in central Brittany so it’s a very easy one hours drive to the three coast lines of Brittany. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walkers, bikers and fisherman. It’s an ideal location for families of all ages as the Lac de Guerledan is only a short drive away and has three Sandy beaches which are safe for swimming, water sports and also has many bars and restaurants. Tree climbing can also be found on the banks of the Lac de Guerledan. Gouarec has a tourist train, bike hire, many bars and restaurants. Further afield their are animal parks,museums, old fortified towns that can be visited.

How to get to Maison Fleurie
- The nearest ferry ports are St Malo and Roscoff which are an easy 1 1/2 hours drive. The ferry ports of Cherbourg and Caen are a little further away but a 3 1/2 hours drive on uncrowned roads and no tolls.
- The euro tunnel at Calais is around a 7 hours drive on a non peak day.
- If you wish to fly then then the airports of Rennes and Brest are approx 1 1/2 hours drive.

- During the summer months when the swimming pool is open, end of May till mid September if heating is required (should be warm and Sunny ) inside the property then there will be an additional charge.
- All electricty, water and gas is included during the summer months.
- Wifi is provided by starlink.
- All bed linen is provide along with shower mat and t towels. Cot, highchair and stair gate provided but please bring your own cot bedlinen. You will need to bring all your own towels for the cottage and pool .Beds are made up ready for your arrival
