Accessed by private gated-entrance, the villa was fully renovated in 2010 and is just 30 minutes’ walk up to the village, where amongst the winding streets and square you’ll find many shops, boulangeries, restaurants and weekly market. The nearby towns of Vence and Grasse also offer more extensive facilities.
It has a maximum occupancy of 20 and would be perfect for a large family gathering, or few families holidaying together (no organised parties please) - great for those wanting a comfortable base for relaxing, but also not far from the sea and hinterland villages.

Outside: large, covered terrace adjacent to kitchen with long table & chairs for up to 16 and gas barbeque, great views down to the sea. Terraced garden steps down from the pool with Mediterranean planting, very private, and boule pitch beyond the pool. Children’s play frame in the lower garden and trampoline with safety netting. Car port and driveway immediately outside, plus further parking beyond the cottage.
Swimming pool: private and heated, 12 x 6 metres, 2.5m deepest. Secured by barrier with gates. 2 parasols and sun loungers for 8.
Tourettes sur Loup is just 25 minutes from Nice airport and one of the most beautiful, medieval 'perched' villages in the Alpes Maritimes region. Built precipitously on a rocky spur surrounded on two sides by a ravine and on the third by a vibrant village square, it has a backdrop of craggy mountains to the north and stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline to the south.
Local shops and markets - life in this very French village is all year-round. The cobbled streets abound with craft shops, there is a regular Provencal market on Wednesday morning offering a delicious array of Provencal delicacies, locally grown fresh produce, clothes, linen and craft items. You'll find just about all your needs daily too, with 2 bakers, 2 butchers, 2 greengrocers, 2 hairdressers, a small supermarket and even a library. There’s a great selection of characterful bars and restaurants - one with a Michelin star. You can happily while away a few hours enjoying a coffee or sipping a glass of rosé watching the locals playing boules around the village square, or even have a game yourself !
Sporting activities in the area are abundant – if you feel like being more active and taking advantage of the great Mediterranean climate, there are ample opportunities for sport with mountain walks, exercise classes, yoga, tennis, football/rugby and cycle clubs available. Down by the coast there’s sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, jogging and rollerblading along the promenade and of course the beaches.
Beaches can be found just 16 km away at Cagnes sur Mer and right along the front from Antibes to Nice. From here you can enjoy the sunshine glittering on azure blue waters of the Med and watch the many boats crossing the ‘Baie des Anges’.
The ski stations of Greoliere, Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are between 1 and 2 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
Getting around - it’s about 30 minutes’ walk up to the village of Tourettes, where you can take local buses to Grasse, Vence and Nice. A car however would be preferred from here.
Sightseeing there are many places to visit along the Cote d'Azur, whether you’re looking for a unique holiday experience or a relaxing vacation, you can be sure that a holiday in South of France will be truly memorable. Things to do/Local Information: in the villa we have lots of information; from where the local markets are held each day, to where you can go jet ski-ing. Everything for the family is only a few minutes’ drive away, not everything is on the coast, and you will find many things to do for all the family nearby.
Other entertainment includes shopping, the casinos & nightlife of Nice, boat trips, cinemas, wine tasting, helicopter rides, or just good old relaxing by the pool!

We left the villa this morning after a great holiday. Everyone was very sad to leave. It was a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Accommodation was very comfortable and well-equipped. Having the pool heated and close to the house was the best feature. Antoineta (the housekeeper) is a star and looked after us so well. Many thanks

The villa is amazing and meets everyone’s needs and what a beautiful village. We managed to walk there for breakfast. We had a wonderful week in Villa Romarin. Excellent location and the best equipped house we have ever stayed in, particularly in the kitchen, two dishwashers was amazing. The outside area and pool was excellent. Thank you again for all of your help and advice, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending your company. Paul was so helpful and answered all of our queries. He knew the property and area very well.

Very practical house with panoramic location, beautiful terraces, lovely swimming pool. Very good daily supervision and cleaning. We had a wonderful holiday. What we really missed is an outdoor shower. We also advise to make a mattress topper available because the mattresses are very hard. But the overall impression is very positive

Paul was extremely helpful and responsive, guiding us towards a Villa we had previously discounted from our search, providing additional photos and personal input. It was wonderful to speak to someone who had actually visited and personally vetted the property. Wonderful lateral living space inside leading on to big terrace. And FANTASTIC kitchen with literally everything you could ask for. TWO dishwashers was heavenly with a party as large as ours. A truly beautiful property, stylishly developed by the owners, with high quality fittings throughout. Superbly appointed kitchen. Wonderful far reaching views and walking distance to a lovely village. And the housekeeper was superb and incredibly responsive. Perfect.

- Damage deposit: the owner requests a damage deposit of 3000 Euros, made by credit card guarantee in advance of arrival. This will be refunded at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
- Change over day: flexible upon request. Stays of 2 week duration preferred July & August.
- Long weekend stays: not possible here – sorry.
- Pets: some permitted upon request - please ask.
