What an absolute gem of a place - both La Tannerie and Dinan. We loved our stay....
Guest rating:
Thank you Guillaume & Marina for the care you have taken to make La Tannerie a cosy, homely stay in beautiful Dinan. Thank you also to Judith for your help at every stage. We felt at home, far from our home in Melbourne Australia. Best wishes to you all for a wonderful summer

The location is absolutely perfect
We had a wonderful time! The location is absolutely perfect, very nice environment. The property was very nicely decorated, very clean and well equipped. Small restaurants close and across the river. (Everything closes well before midnight, so nights are quiet) From the house you can walk straight into cozy Dinan. Bakery across the street! The property is beautiful and complete. The beds are excellent and the WiFi is very good! There are canoes for rent nearby as well as bicycles. The bike paths are fantastic! We had a fantastic week with our family with children between 15 and 26! Absolutely recommended! Thank you very much JudithGuest rating:
Magnificent views of the old port
A lovely spacious property with magnificent views of the old port and the ramparts of Dinan. A very pleasant atmosphere in the neighbourhood, lively but not overcrowded. Watch the port wake up in the morning, and the ramparts lit by the rising sun, we were never tired of it! The house is beautiful, well equipped, very comfortable beds and seating and very functional. We didn't miss anything. Communication with Judith was perfect.Guest rating:
Highly recommended
This property is perfectly located on the bank of the river Rance. A very short walk across the bridge allows access to a multitude of restaurants to cater for all tastes. A lovely walk into the spectacular town of Dinan (up a rather steep but amazingly beautiful cobbled hill) opens up further culinary opportunities and beautiful views from the old castle and ramparts. The house is extremely well appointed and catered for our family of five brilliantly - private parking in the courtyard was a definite bonus too. We explored the area around us extensively however; it was always quite a pull to leave Dinan and a real welcome upon our return each day. This property comes highly recommended!Guest rating:
Book with confidence
The property is fabulous and the host will guide you through all of your needs, everything was perfect for our family. The top thing we enjoyed was the location, right on the river, with a few nice restaurants right nearby, boat rentals, and easy access up to the center of town. Other things we enjoyed were that each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus a powder room on the first floor, the open garden/sun terrace area at the rear, and the easy comfort of the home. Judith was very sweet and helpful and great with communication. We would recommend this comfortable home as a nice base to explore the area. We were in fact very sad to leave!Guest rating:
A very memorable stay
Beautiful property along the river Rance. Ideal for exploring Dinan. Immediate proximity to bike rental, boat (canoe, kayak, small motor boat). Hiking. Great selection of restaurants around. La Tannerie is ideally situated, spacious, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable accommodation with a lovely terrace, a real sun-trap! Thanks Judith for a very memorable stay.Guest rating:
We have stayed in many rental properties and this is at the top of our list!
This is truly an amazing property, right on the river Rance. We loved the property very much; it was elegantly and functionally furnished. The perfect location in the middle of the port, where there were many activities. The view from the windows of the three floors of the historic picturesque houses of Port Dinan is unique and beautiful. The place is also a good starting point for hikes as well as for excursions in a beautiful setting. Judith was very welcoming and ensured a smooth process in a very pleasant way. Secure parking in the courtyard was a true great plus.Guest rating:
We had a fabulous stay in a perfect location
We had a fabulous stay! La Tannerie is very well equipped, clean, comfortable and the location is perfect. The property has a beautiful setting in the port with a fantastic choice of restaurants on the doorstep. The seaside town of Dinard is only 25 minutes drive away and well worth a visit. Judith was an excellent host and was quick to answer any queries we had both before and during our visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future.Guest rating:
This wonderful accommodation was definitely the perfect choice
Just back from a lovely trip to Dinan, staying in the most convenient, clean and comfortable river side house. With two young children to entertain, this wonderful accommodation was definitely the perfect choice of rentals. The safe and (late night) sunny courtyard proved perfect for bbqs and early morning children’s playtime. We had breakfast with a view every morning thanks to the large kitchen riverside windows opening up. Three bedrooms over two floors with riverside views, allowed privacy and made better by super comfortable beds. Not only the actual accommodation but the location of this property was fantastic. Stunning walks in all directions, boat rentals two minutes walk from the house, plus a great choice of restaurants and children’s parks nearby. Free Parking was two minutes walk which also added to easy living. Overall, I would definitely recommend this properly to anyone I know, thinking of visiting Dinan!Guest rating:
I can recommend to you the place and the host with a good conscience
This stunning property is located directly in the port of Dinan and is within a short walk to the medieval city center. The traditional built stone house is well equipped, nicely furnished and clean. You can start the day with breakfast on the private sun terrace. Our Host Judith is a friendly, smart and open-minded. We had a wonderful holiday. I can recommend to you the property and the host with a good conscience. Thank you for all Judith.Guest rating:
A lovely place to stay
A lovely place to stay, clean, bright, airy and well equipped. Parking at the rear of the property. Two minutes walk to loads of good eating places and a short walk up to the old town. Whilst Judith doesn't live at the property she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. An amazing stay and we hope to return very soon!Guest rating:
