Begin your day by taking a gentle 10 minute stroll to the local village of Masserac where you will find the boulangerie to buy your fresh bread and croissants for breakfast. The village also offers a cafe bar and a grocery shop. Just 10 minutes away from the gites are the lively towns of Redon and Guemene-Penfao where you will find supermarkets, outdoor/indoor swimming pools, canoe hire for paddling along the River Don, pony trekking and a good selection of restaurants. There are several wonderful swimming lakes with beaches (always a hit with children) within 15 minutes or if you prefer the coast the stunning beaches of South West Brittany are within easy reach. We offer a large range of bicycles from child to adult sizes. For the younger members of the family there are also child seats and child trailers available. Perfect for exploring the area together as a family, all available to use free of charge.
A perfect place to soak up the French culture and sample the local Breton delicacies are the many markets around the area surrounding our gites. Situated between the beautiful cities of Vannes, Nantes and Rennes there are also many other historic towns to discover. or the more energetic, this area of Southern Brittany is a walking and cycling paradise, there is also plenty of opportunity to fish or play a round of golf. For families there are many fun attraction parks, animal parks and aquariums. The wonderful situation of the gites on the border of Southern Brittany and the Loire Atlantique, will allow you to easily discover many attractions or just relax and enjoy the rural tranquility.

How to get to Jasmine Cottage
- La Cour Cottages are situated approximately 10 miles northeast of the town of Redon which is about 30 miles south of the city of Rennes. It is an easy drive from the ferry ports of St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen, Roscoff & Le Havre.
- There are also many flights into the international airports at Rennes, Nantes & Brest.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location
We have just returned from two great weeks in Jasmine cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and included everything needed for a happy holiday including free-to-use bikes and wifi (which was very welcome). It's a lovely area with lots to do within a short car journey. Folders are provided which give lots of information/recommendations both locally and further afield. These were so useful - we used them daily! Maria and Mike are great hosts who immediately made us feel very welcome and at home - they are also on hand to answer any questions you may have. Quite simply, if you're looking for accommodation in this area, look no further!

Absolutely fantastic family holiday in stunning part of France
We spent a week in Jasmine Cottage and loved every minute. The gite is beautiful and so well equipped with a lovely big garden, perfect for eating outside and for the children to play. Having the bikes at the gites was a fabulous addition to our holiday - we loved exploring the quiet country lanes and cycling to the village in the mornings for fresh croissants! Our son even learnt to ride without stabilisers! Maria and Tony were absolutely perfect hosts and gave us such a lovely warm welcome. Their information packs about the area were invaluable and we loved exploring the beautiful lakes with beaches, rivers, nearby towns and beaches. We are already planning our return visit and would highly recommend Jasmine Cottage for a fabulous family holiday.

A Wonderful family holiday
I’m not normally one to write a review but after such a wonderful holiday I feel compelled to share our experience! I currently live in France and we wanted to have a big family holiday together with our relatives from the UK and as our own house isn’t nearly big enough we decided to rent some holiday cottages together. La Cour was everything and more than we had hoped for. We stayed in Jasmine Cottage, Wisteria Barn and Woodland View Barn. Each of the properties were so very special, each has been tastefully renovated, really well-presented, very comfortable for our large group and spotlessly clean. They are all really well-equipped and offer everything needed for a family holiday, they were a perfect base for our stay. Maria and Tony have made such a good job or thinking of all the things you need. The gardens were amazing with pergolas and plenty of space for the children run around and play. The bikes were such a lovely addition, we spent a couple of days as a family on the bikes meandering around the lanes and we particularly loved the path alongside the river. The glorious weather meant lots of time at the lovely swimming lakes as well as the outdoor pools which the children loved. The area is lovely with so much to do, we did not have nearly enough time to explore everything. Thankyou Maria and Tony you were the perfect hosts, very warm and welcoming. We will certainly be back and definitely for 2 weeks next time!
