Notre Dame de Ronciers church dominates the square, where you can sit and gaze at the various Gothic stone gargoyles whilst you have a coffee or meal in one of the lovely eateries and cafes on the square. The square is also the site of a Saturday morning market where you can find lots of lovely regional produce.
From May to September various events are organised - from a medieval festival to free concerts, all of the events are scheduled, and posters will be everywhere.
The Pardon of Notre Dame de Ronciers takes place in September. A lot of the local social life in adjoining communes is run by local associations like Young Farmers. These are held in local community centres and usually start with a specific meal like Moules Frites, and end in a disco. Also Fest Noz, many are held in the streets. You will be made most welcome and many local English speaking people who live here go to these events.
