Guide to Holidays in French Farmhouses
A farmhouse is traditionally known as a building that serves as a primary residence in a rural or agricultural setting. Historically farmhouses where often combined with space for animals called a Housebarn. Other farmhouses may be connected to one or more barns, built to form a courtyard, or with each farm building separate from each other. Today many of these stunning buildings have been converted to create a quintessential French experience. Being typically situated in the countryside they allow you to immerse yourself in all that the French countryside and culture has to offer. Many Farmhouses also offer the option of out buildings or smaller Gîtes attached that allow for groups to stay together while maintaining your own space. If you are looking for authentic French holiday or a genuine home from home, why not rent a Farmhouse for your next trip.

One of the most fantastic features of many of the farmhouses in France is the gardens and land that surrounds the properties.
